Kenalkan Indonesia, Sophia University putar film “Filosofi Kopi”
Sophia University recently hosted a screening of the Indonesian film “Filosofi Kopi” as part of their initiative to introduce Indonesian culture to their students. The film, directed by Angga Dwimas Sasongko, tells the story of two friends who run a coffee shop in Jakarta and navigate the challenges of running a business while maintaining their friendship.
The event was organized by the Indonesian Student Association at Sophia University, in collaboration with the Indonesian Embassy in Japan. The goal of the screening was to showcase the rich cultural heritage of Indonesia and promote a better understanding of the country among Japanese students.
“Filosofi Kopi” has received critical acclaim for its portrayal of the struggles and triumphs of small business owners in Indonesia. The film also highlights the importance of friendship and community in overcoming obstacles and achieving success.
After the screening, there was a discussion session where students had the opportunity to ask questions and share their thoughts on the film. Many of them were impressed by the cinematography and storytelling of “Filosofi Kopi” and expressed interest in learning more about Indonesian cinema.
