JICA-Kemenkes kerja sama pelatihan makan bergizi di sekolah
Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and the Indonesian Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) have recently collaborated on a project to provide training on nutritious eating in schools. This initiative aims to promote healthy eating habits among students and educate them on the importance of a balanced diet.
The training program, which is part of JICA’s ongoing efforts to support Indonesia’s health sector, focuses on teaching students about the nutritional value of different foods and the benefits of eating a variety of fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. The program also emphasizes the importance of avoiding processed foods high in sugar, salt, and unhealthy fats.
Through interactive workshops and hands-on cooking classes, students are encouraged to experiment with new foods and learn how to prepare healthy meals at home. By involving students in the cooking process, the program aims to instill a sense of pride and ownership in their food choices, empowering them to make healthier decisions in the future.
In addition to educating students, the training program also provides teachers with the knowledge and resources they need to promote healthy eating in their schools. Teachers are trained on how to incorporate nutrition education into their lesson plans and create a supportive environment for students to make healthier choices.
The JICA-Kemenkes collaboration on training for nutritious eating in schools is a significant step towards improving the health and well-being of Indonesian children. By teaching students about the importance of a balanced diet and providing them with the skills to make healthier choices, this program has the potential to have a lasting impact on the health of future generations.
As the program continues to expand and reach more schools across Indonesia, it is hoped that it will contribute to reducing the prevalence of diet-related health issues such as obesity, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease. By empowering students to make informed choices about their diets, this initiative has the potential to create a healthier and happier future for all Indonesians.
